Group upItem of the Week: AA-12This week’s item of the week is the AA-12. This rapid fire shotgun equipped with a drum magazine is known for its minimal recoil and high level of accuracy. The consensus on this gun is that it's at its best on small tight maps such as Death Room and Junk Flea where enemies are almost always in range. While it doesn't carry the punch or the range of some other shotgun types, the low recoil, accuracy and the 20 ammo per clip makes up for it. It also has a fairly fast fire rate for a shotgun, making this a good gun for an emergency situation. Let’s see what a few of your fellow Combat Arms players had to say: “This shotgun is unrivaled in clip size compared to other shotguns, which allows for you to come out on top of any engagement and be able to continue unloading your way to victory. It's best used on close quarters maps like Death Room, Overdose, and even Junk Flea. Nothing better than owning all opposition with a few well placed shotgun blasts with this weapons high accuracy."– Josh F. “The AA-12 is great for any type of close quarter combat surroundings. Walking around a corner, see an unsuspecting player, shoot 2, maybe 1 round, and instant death. The best part is seeing them QQing about you being a shotgun noob, while knowing inside you still got that kill before them and they are just jealous.– Chad W. “The AA-12 is a fantastic weapon for people who want to get good with shotguns. It doesn't take very much effort to make this weapon good. It has a very high fire rate, extremely good accuracy (for a shotgun), insanely low recoil, and it packs one serious punch! And to make it even more awesome it holds a 20 round clip!”- Jesse O. Details on the AA-12Community SpotlightVote Kick Discussion Sarge posted in the forum that based on previous discussions with the fans, a change was made to how Vote Kick works. It now requires 70% of votes to be positive in order for a player to be kicked. What do you think of this change? How has it affected your game? | Interesting stuff although I still don't see why they are making a month for specs since most people see them as over powered players that ruin the game. I suggest that you make a section called Combat Arms News since we usually comment on game updates and events and it should probably have it's own section to make things more organized.

| How does everyone feel about the new Papa server REC rules?
Personally, I see it as a load of BS. It's not going to help anything unless Nexon adds a sliding scale to how the game plays for different levels.
For instance, if a Trainee gets pwnt by a Master Sergeant on normal rules, then possibly for the trainee the game would become easier than it would for the MSG. Otherwise, you don't actually accomplish much besides letting the MSG kill the Trainee that much faster since gun recoil doesn't play that much of a factor in getting killed.
Barring all level disparity, though, it might be interesting. I doubt kills there count toward KDR and I would bet that EXP and GP are awarded at reduced rates.

| Idk. The REC rules are pretty dumb and at best the server would be a good place to practice tapping because of the lower recoil. But ya, it probably is going to end up kind of like a noob version of the Delta server (kinda like how Tyleh suggested except I think there is a small chance they will literally make a separate Kdr tracker for the new server like Delta (might not since it would make player rankings look even more messy)). | |

uhh...they're talking bout REC (Recreational) rules for the new Papa server... Lol @ that. REC rules and Papa Server sounds like a complete fail. Even if it makes the game slightly easier for both new players and experienced players, it would be just like any other server, except much easier to kill noobs. Everything else is pretty much of an "okay" update, I don't care much about them though xD.

| Has anyone gotten the rewards from the events yet? I got over 100 kills with the ACR and I still haven't gotten my package thing yet. | |

| I'm pretty sure you get it when the event ends (I've got like 250 kills with my Sandfire) because that's how it went with the 100 MG kills event. | |

| Then I'm happy I didn't buy that gun again to get more kills. It's not that good of a gun. Anyone know when the rec rules thing is going up?. It seems a bit odd for Nexon to release information on that kind of an update this early. | |

| Wow. Idk, just don't like it because it has weird recoil and its basically like a yellowish orange version of the M416 (except the m416 has great recoil) and its out of order in the shop. | |

| It doesn't matter if the accuracy is good if it has bad recoil (kind of like the G36E. Not sure it is more powerful than the M416 either since that would make it pretty close to an AK47 with half the recoil)..... | |
