HiSec

During the 5-Shot event, many players bought a crapload of keys to complete their cards, and were planning to be able to use the keys later to save back the money they spent.

Now Nexon announces that the Hi-Secs are going to be revamped, implying that, soon, the black and gray cases will no longer appear. If this is true, players are suddenly going to find that they spent a bunch of money to stock up on keys they can no longer use. Nexon better at least reimburse players for the keys they can no longer use if they plan to remove the old cases completely and if the keys are no longer usable. Or they could swap the old keys for new, equivalent ones.

On an unrelated note, my CA lag has reduced drastically. I think it might be because GameBooster updated a while back and the new version seems to be working significantly better.

I think Nexon is changing hi-sec keys because right now they are horribly out of place in the game. If you buy 50 or so it will take you a year to burn through them all but if Nexon increases the drop rate for them hi sec keys will be everywhere and make it annoying to play games. At the same time the cases arent even that good so people don't even really buy them (except recently for the 5 shot stuff). Assuming they do nerf them (REALLY doubt nexon would get rid of them. My guess is that current keys will be converted to the new keys and that the cases will probably be buffed since I can't really nexon nerfing them any more than they are now) it won't be much of a loss.

All right. Given the rewards for the 5-Shot, I don't think I would have spent all that money on just the 5-Shot or just for Gray HiSecs, but it seemed like a good deal if I was getting them together, since I'll end up saving a bunch of GP if I use the guns I get from HiSecs.

So now that I have a bunch of keys in my inventory, I'll be really pissed if Nexon either doesn't reimburse me or doesn't convert them to the new keys if they become obsolete.
