Lagg Help

So at my grandmother's, her computer makes Combat Arms lag. And I wanna know if there's a way if anyone knows how to get rid of this lag, other than deleting things from my computer like unused software. Normally when I'm there I play on a second account, that way it doesn't effect my actual accounts KDR. If anyone knows of a way, please inform me.

I don't know what graphics card or OS you have but if you have ATI you could refer to this:

If you have Windows 7 you can go to Control Panel>System> Advanced system settings and click on the settings button and click on the "adjust for best performance" option (makes the UI look like crap though). If you make a folder and name it "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" (without the ") it will give you all your system options all in one handy link (Works for the 64 bit and 32 bit versions of Windows 7 and the 32 bit version of Vista only)

Remember that whatever you do, don't mess up your Grandma's computer and don't leave her with programs/settings that she is going to have to worry about later (you might want to think about making a completely different user account for you to tinker on although anything you install will be installed for all users so if your Grandma might have problems with the stuff you download remember to uninstall the stuff later)

BTW did you ever talk to KHESS?

well another way to cut down the lag abit is to on combat arms turn down the graphics turn off blood and stuff like that pretty much turning everything down so the gameplay is better for less lag but not a good quality but yaa it dnt help alot but does get lag to go down

Actually no. Tell me when he gets on because I can't communicate with him unless I randomly try to whisper him in game and he happens to be on (not sure if my whispers will go through if his whisper is off since I haven't used whispers before)

Another thingu can do before starting combat arms is right click on the desktop the go to view and then click show desktop icons it helps a little.

KHESS is the IGN of a friend of mine i meet recently and i want introducing him into the clan.

Actually I just did a 1v1 with him to make sure he was good enough to join and Invoked recruited him. I had never recruited anyone before and had no idea how to do it (although when I recruited another person later I noticed that the application page was frozen when I tried to recruit KHESS earlier so I wouldn't have been able to recruit KHESS anyway).

a lil off topic but wat is yuor fave recuirting map and mode to play mine is shortfuse and prob elmination 30kills

I do OMA 30 kills with the map of their choosing (except for dark forest because that would take too long). I just let them pick whatever map they want so they cant complain about me picking a map they hate or anything. Since I have the least experience in base camping/ rushing out of all the clan Admins (I almost never do (although I should do it more often) so I just assume I'm the worst at it) anyone who is getting owned by me in their spawn isn't fit enough to join the clan. I got 11-10 in Cold Seed against KHESS but I still need to decide on a minimum match kdr you need to get in a game against me to be allowed in (.33 was KHESS's requirement but I'm debating to make it .5 from now on).

Well I use gamebooster it works fairly well. I used to have a bad lagging problem(about 2-3 minutes before i got in the game!) but gamebooster helped a bunch. (30 sec- 1 min) It was still pretty slow but just recently I got rid of all the games i dont play i uninstalled games cleared out the recycle bin and deleted pictures and videos I wasn't using now i get into games about 10-25 seconds!

Quick question will doing a disk clean up and disk defrag help it?
