Server Error

My clan settings tab still says server error whenever I open it. I'm wondering if this happens for everyone else and if there's a way to fix it.

A handful of people claim that you can fix it by reinstalling Internet Explorer 9/8 (I used to be one of these people until the problem returned) but as of now the problem is Nexon's servers and only about 1% of everyone can access the clan settings. I'm pretty sure that before the first Fusion update Nexon might have even turned off the server that is responsible for handling clan setting requests. Considering that the clan settings lag before telling you that it can't connect to the server (as of the first fusion update) and since pert 2 of the Fusion updates includes a clan map I'm guessing they might fix the problem by the next update. On the other hand since the problem is partially caused by IE 9/8, the clan settings page is more or less an HTML page and the HTML on the website is pretty incomplete I'm guessing that there is still going to be a few problems even if they do fix it next patch. Now that I think about it I happen to have a computer that still runs IE 7 (hopefully. I don't use it much so I don't remember) so I might get on that to see if we can recruit a few people.

Yeah, after the ban-hammering, when I tried to rejoin the clan with my new account, it took forever. If you have the patience, you can keep restarting the game and trying. That 1% (or whatever the actual stat is) doesn't depend on the user, only the session.

I've been trying to get to the clan settings every time I log in but it hasn't worked once. Not once! I'm still using Internet Explorer 7 as I can't be stuffed installing the new ones since I only use Google Chrome on this computer and Mozilla Firefox on my laptop. I hope Nexon fixes this quickly as I want to start recruiting to make the clan more active.

I haven't tried that, but Firefox is my default browser and it worked eventually after reloading enough times. If that's accurate information, then it's rather silly of Nexon to rely on a browser rather than having the default browser load the page given the address.

I logged on and was able to see the clan settings for the first time in months! There wasn't anyone on the wait list so I didn't add anyone though. Is anyone else able to access it or was I just lucky?

I think Nexon may have fixed it during the latest patch. No one else seems to have any problems with it either. Well not anyone I know anyway,

Yeah, I think it was patched, too. When I logged on, a bunch of people were using megaphones to declare it fixed.

You shouldn't have to pay money to have the right to announce a message to everyone...

Well if they didn't have to pay, then people'd just be spamming messages all over the place.

And in real life, try to get a message out to everyone without paying in some way.

Besides, allowing users to pay for elevated privileges is quite common in other places, not just in CA. It's not like you're not allowed to talk to anyone or buy guns. It's just that if you do pay, you can send a message to more people at once and can buy better guns.

The megaphones is purely for money making purposes. Nexon just wants to make money by allowing people to broadcast messages to everyone. Besides, I think its a good thing that Nexon charges money for it. Like I said in a previous post, without the money charge, people would be spamming all the time. Even in the normal lobbies, I see heaps of spam posts.

Has anyone seen those posts which spam hack sites, people would be broadcasting that everywhere if Nexon doesn't charge for megaphones.
